There are many benefits of renting an apartment, some of which include the ability to save money for the purpose of purchasing a home later. Or the ability to enjoy low maintenance living with the inclusion of amenities, like a pool or large courtyard, which normally would cost much more time and money with the purchase a home.
VBC offers a range of apartment styles, communities and amenities. Read on to learn some of the benefits you can enjoy by renting at a VBC property.
The Ability to Save Money
Being able to save up a great deal of money for the purpose of making a down payment on a dream home is just one of the many great advantages of renting a property. Although renting is often criticized because it does not result in equity, the ability to save money while renting is unparalleled
Rent and utilities for an apartment is often considerably less than the monthly cost of a house. At many of our properties, VBC also covers the cost of select utilities, which can really add up in savings for the renter. Depending on how long a renter stays in the apartment, they may save hundreds or even thousands of dollars in living expenses during the course of the lease.
Another advantage to renting a property is there is typically little or no maintenance required by the renter. The renter may be responsible for small items such as changing light bulbs but the more extensive repairs that can cost hundreds of dollars, such as leaks in plumbing or clogs in drains, are typically handled by our maintenance staff. Bonus: Most our properties have maintenance staff on-site 24/7 which means speedy repairs!
Additionally common areas such as grassy areas and gardens are maintained by the maintenance staff which lets the renter enjoy the serene outdoor spaces without the burden of upkeep.
Another advantage to apartment living is often the amenities offered to residents. Such amenities at our properties might include an outdoor pool, courtyard with gazebos, an exercise room, and/or a community room. These luxury amenities are typically not as accessible with the purchase of a home, such as a maintenance-free pool, fully equipped exercise room and outdoor recreation structures. In fact searching for homes which specifically have these features may severely limit the number of search results and may result in no search results at all when these features are searched in conjunction with a typical price range.
